The College of Business Management

Business Management is the discipline devoted to organizing, analyzing, and planning various types of business operations. 

OBJECTIVES:

  1. To apply analytically the fundamental concepts, theories, principles, and practices of business management within the context of regulatory and legal framework;
  2. To perform simple arithmetic and mathematical operations relevant to the field of business management;
  3. To become proficient in the use of information and communications technology in solving problems in the business environment;
  4. To demonstrate skills and competencies in the performance of specific tasks in business enterprises;
  5. To deliver excellent oral and written communication skills in business transactions, negotiations, and presentations of business ideas and proposals;
  6. To conduct research activities among faculty and students including but not limited to business research, marketing research, feasibility study, project proposal, and thesis;
  7. To present research outputs in local, national, and international conferences and publish the same in peer-reviewed journals;
  8. To provide learning experiences to students by engaging in on-the-job training and community extension services;
  9. To demonstrate the values of excellence, moral values, and professionalism in dealing with clients and people in the business world; and
  10. To contribute to nation-building by demonstrating corporate social responsibility.
